Smart home means home appliances are connected together via a wireless network and controlled through a wireless device, on which Wifi played an important role bridging them, but most of wifi in the market are a little expensive that maybe many prototype makers can’t afford it. Are you still annoyed with the wifi high price, maybe you should consider having the economical one for research. We are trying to design some easy wifi shield, cheap, powerful, convenient to use. Coming soon. Let’s take a peep at the easy wifi first.
The fourth one is the easy wifi shield, an Expansion Board based on CC3000 wireless module, and the second one is the wifi antenna. Assembled with the Arduino mainboard, besides the smart home and remote control, Easy Wifi Shield can achieve unlimited functions, as it adopted SPI communication mode（Our Shield only use ICSP2X3 SPI)，onboard 3.3V regulator circuit (TI-CC3000 operating voltage of 3.3V), plus one Micro SD card. Further more, the CC3000 module in the shield has two antennas access to circuit, a URL connector which can be connected to external 2.4GHZ antenna, and the other ceramic antenna is directly attached to the plate.
